Here is my build thread. Picked this guy up for REAL cheap and have big plans for it. It was 100% stock when I got it. Rode it for a few weekends and now it is time to start collecting parts for a sweet build.
Goals: YZ inspired build with MX swing arm, Marzocchi style forks, disc brakes, KX65 excel wheels and some motor mods. Looking at GYTR cam and valve kit and some exhaust with a better carb too. These are long term goals
As of now: Just installed Pro Taper SE tall bars and a set of risers from a YZ250. Scott grips, new brake lever and new shifter. Some new plastics cam with it, but a whole set is in order along with some custom graphics.
Really loving the mini world. Its more fun to play on than my big bikes.
Any suggestions will be very much appreciated!
BTW, trying to keep it a "Budget build".... we'll see about that.
When I got it.
Now with pro taper bars!

gytr cam with valve springs and a cheap mikuni 22mm carb and exhaust will make it come alive, I rode my ttr110 with those upgrades for a yr before i swapped a daytona on it.
I don't see a mx style swing arm working on a ttr110, the design of the frame and location of the shock mounting isn't ideal.
Heres mine from back in the day.

Man, that thing is sweet. I just remember seeing a TTR with a MX style swinger and it was just nasty! What are the details on your front and rear suspension set up? I work at a Yamaha dealership so my GYTR parts are CHEAP!
I really want mine to sit taller like yours. Im 6 ft tall and my pegs make a new rut every time i get to almost drag bars haha.

stock forks with hd klx springs, and feel suspension did something to the dampeners, Like right at $500 for the forks to be modded, yet i never rode it after I had the forks built. In the video just had klx hd springs and thicker weight oil.
Rear was a works shock ( for a klx110) had to move the mount on the frame for better geometry. And a sano rear swingarm for a ttr50, had to machine the swing arm to accept the larger bearings so the swing arm bolt would fit. The TTR bike your referring too, it was a china bike that was like a ttr clone... I remember seeing it on here as well. I wish I never sold the bike now, Had a brand new daytona 150 on it and all the gytr bolt ons. sold it for $1900.... i kick my own ass for selling it now. Tough and good riding bike.

Are the BBR HD springs for the TTR a waste of.money or should I look into the KLX version? Or is there a difference?

at the time, there wasn't anything out for the ttr. more than likely same spring. If they have it for the ttr then go with it.
Also 3 yrs ago I was jumping 65ft triples daily on mine... it got a lot of abuse and never had any fails or issues with suspension. My mini moto track had some big big jumps before the city shut me down.

Is the sano swingarm for the ttr50 hard to make work? Mods for these ttr's have become troublesome to find.
